Made in 1979 in St. Albans by the last surviving English chronometer maker, this fine instrument represents the end of a great tradition.  Constructed by hand in the traditional way with fully spotted fusee movement with Earnshaw spring detent escapement and compensated balance with gold/palladium balance spring. Fully restored and rated in two tier mahagany box and outer guard box, with five year guarantee.
