Russian MX6 two day chronometer

Excellent example of this type of instrument, having its origin in the chronometers made in Glasshutte before the war.  After the Russian invasion, machinery and technicians were moved to Moscow and production of the same instruments began in 1949.  They are based on a traditional English design with an Earnshaw spring detent escapement and palladium helical balance spring. Fully restored with five year guarantee.
